You can make an account right now without showing us ID. It is a real account — build your profile, make galleries, try the editor, see how the whole thing feels. Think of it as looking around before you decide whether Herplace is for you.
What works straight away

- As many galleries as you like, and you can lock them
- Your mailbox and your messages area, to look around and add contacts
- HerCloud, to see how your storage would work
What waits until you verify
- Photos and video on your profile and in your galleries
- Selling a gallery
- Sending or receiving mail — your address is set up, but it is not switched on
- Sending or receiving messages, and asking someone to be a contact
- Uploading anything to HerCloud
This account deletes itself in 72 hours
Three days after you confirm your email address, this account and everything in it is deleted — the profile, the galleries, the lot. That is not a warning shot; it actually goes. We will email you a day before it happens, with a link that verifies you on the spot if you want to keep it.
Taking longer than three days is fine
If getting your ID together takes a week, or a month, that is genuinely fine. Sign up again whenever you are ready — as many times as you need — and your name will be free for you to take again. Nothing about this counts against you.
Verifying is a photo of your ID and a selfie, and it takes a few minutes. Do it whenever you like: everything you have set up stays exactly as it is and just starts working.
